A word about pricing.
Octopus has and always will attempt to provide the lowest price for the service we provide. Sometimes that price is less than our cost.
Our pricing is the lowest in the country for Full Service car washes. Car Washes are not cheap to operate or maintain and our average cost to wash a vehicle is over $9 where as our basic full service wash starts at $6.99.
Our vehicle pricing structure is based on the amount of labor required to perform the service rather than the physical size of the vehicle.
For example: a small SUV or Crossover would seem to be the same size as a standard passenger car. We have to open up the rear hatchback to vacuum that area and clean the two additional rear windows. Also many of these vehicles seat more then just 4 passengers creating more work to access the extra seating area.
If we could do it for less we would.
Standard Passenger Car = 2 or 4 doors and a trunk, 6 windows. The most simple vehicle to wash.
Small Pickup=2 Door, 2 passengers, 4 windows. Step Ladder required.
4 door and Ext. Cab full size Pickup=4 passengers, 6 windows. Step Ladder required.
Minivan=4 or more passengers, a hatchback, 8 windows. One of the most difficult vehicles to clean.
SUV or Crossover=4 or more passengers, 4 doors, hatchback, 8 windows. Requires more labor than a passenger car.
Large SUV=6 passengers, 4 doors, hatchback, 8 large windows, requires step ladder. A very difficult vehicle to clean.
Full Size Van= 8 or more passengers, 10 large windows, requires step ladder. The most difficult vehicle to clean.
Full Express Detail includes Hand applied wax, carpets and seats shampoo, Interior Super Clean.
