Question: I purchased the Extreme package but the employees didn't clean the entire interior?
answer; The online package services (Extreme, Works, and Super), and the Full service wash, do not include a complete interior wipe down. You should expect the dash board, instruments, and console clean.
suggestion; The offline express detail services like the "interior super clean" include a thorough interior cleaning performed by one or two people. These services are performed in the express detail area and take 20 to 30 minutes after the wash process. The costs start at $30. Click here for a link to those services.
Question: I purchased a package that included a fragrance and I can never smell it when I get in my car at the car wash.
answer; Octopus can no longer apply liquid scents to your vehicle interior due to liability concerns. Instead we supply you with a packaged fragrance wafer. The package explains safety concerns and allows the customer to place the wafer where and when they wish. If you don't like the fragrance that you chose simply throw it away and we will give you a different one.
Question: I paid for an express detail service and it took longer than the time the service advisor quoted me.
answer; We apologize for the added wait. Unfortunately some vehicles take longer on the inside than others. It is impossible to accurately estimate the time needed to clean the interior until we have had a chance to vacuum it and find the floor. The service advisor tries to estimate the time to the best of his/her ability by staying in constant communication with the detail personnel.
suggestion; give yourself some time before you have to be somewhere. We just never know.
Question: How come the tires don't shine as well as when I do them at home.
answer; In order for a tire to receive that high gloss shine it must be dry before applying the products. This is nearly impossible to accomplish in the time frame we have to finish the car online (usually less than 2 minutes). We use premium products but they are easily diluted with the water, that is on the tire from the wash process, and the wet pavement that exists.
suggestion; Save your receipt and drop by any of our locations later the same day and we will gladly do the tires again.
Question: My Vehicle looks small but I am charged an extra dollar like the SUV's and Trucks.
answer; some vehicles have a hatchback, additional windows to clean, or require a step ladder. They take more labor therefore cost more to wash. Click here for details.
